SizeReducer provides online file-compression tools at sizereducer.net. The current compressor is designed to process selected images, PDFs, videos, ZIP archives and other supported files inside your web browser. During the normal compression workflow, the file bytes you select are not intentionally uploaded to or stored on SizeReducer servers.
2. Information we may collect
Contact information: When you use the Contact Us form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message that you submit.
Technical information: Our hosting provider, security services or other infrastructure providers may automatically record limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested URL, date and time, and basic error or security logs.
Usage information: If analytics are introduced, we may collect aggregated information about page visits, general device categories and feature usage. This policy will be updated when a specific non-essential analytics service is introduced.
File-processing privacy
Selected files are read and processed in the browser during the normal compression workflow. The browser may keep temporary in-memory objects while a job is open; refreshing or closing the page ends that working session. Video compression and certain extended image formats may download a browser-side codec package from a third-party content-delivery network, but the selected file itself is not intentionally sent to that provider by SizeReducer.
3. How we use information
We may use collected information to operate and secure the website, respond to support enquiries, investigate errors, prevent abuse, improve usability, comply with legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of users and the service.
4. Cookies and local browser storage
SizeReducer may use strictly necessary cookies or browser storage for security, preferences and reliable site operation. For example, the light or dark appearance preference may be saved in local browser storage. We do not use the contents of your selected files as tracking data.
5. Third-party services
We may rely on third-party providers for website hosting, email delivery, security, fonts, domain services, content delivery and error monitoring. Your browser may connect directly to some of these services to obtain website resources. Those providers may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and user-agent information under their own terms and privacy practices.
6. Contact form and email
Information submitted through the Contact Us form is sent to our support workflow so we can respond. Please do not include passwords, financial information, confidential documents or other highly sensitive content in a support message.
7. Data retention
Contact messages may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to answer your request, maintain support history, prevent abuse or meet legal requirements. Technical and security logs are retained according to our hosting and security configuration. Files processed locally by the compressor remain under your browser and device control during the normal workflow.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect the website and information submitted to us. No internet service, browser environment or storage system can guarantee complete security, so you should keep your own originals and avoid sending sensitive files through the general contact channel.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information associated with you. You may contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
10. Children’s privacy
SizeReducer is not directed to children under the age required to provide independent consent in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.
